Shigekichi

I will introduce the barbecue restaurant, Shigekichi. There are 5 locations in Kanagawa. I went to Shigekichi in Yamato. It's about 10 minutes on foot from Yamato Station. This restaurant is open seven days a week year-round from 17:00 to 1:00 (last order is 24:00). It has 76 seats and the parking area has 7 spaces. The concept is to provide the taste of  Japanese beef. They carefully select the highest grade A-5 Japanese beef. And they are particular about female cow beef because it is more tender, has high quality of fat and tastes better than male cow beef. So the female cow beef is more delicious and the probability of a heavy stomach is low because the melting point of the fat is low and it melts at body temperature. In addition, they are particular about flavoring with salt. They have three kinds of salt. The beef uses German rock salt, the soup has Guinness authorized salt 'Uminochikara' and the chicken has crazy herb salt.

Shigekichi has many items menu; Japanese beef, tongue, tripe, liver, pork, chicken, sea food, salad, pickles (tsukemono), sashimi, chijimi (korean-style pancake), rice, soup, noodles and desert. I ate kalbi (boneless short ribs), tongue, roast (loir), beef-sushi and desert. It was very delicious and I was happy. Also there are many kinds of alcohol. The atmosphere is nice. Let's try it!
